My work is rooted in personal experience and shaped by a life lived between cultures. Born in India, adopted by Danish parents and raised in Denmark, I have spent much of my life exploring different countries and perspectives. My travels and encounters with different cultures have profoundly influenced my creative vision, inspiring the stories, symbolism and imagery that appear throughout my art.

Working across painting, sculpture, drawing and digital illustration, I create original artworks that explore symbolism, storytelling and human experience. These disciplines are closely connected, with paintings and sculptures often informing the imagery that is later developed into handbag and fine art print collections.

Moving between the romantic, the playful, the sensual and the mysterious, my work explores femininity and identity through richly detailed visual narratives.
Neeta Pedersen is a Danish-British-Indian artist based in the UK.
Born in Mumbai and raised in Denmark, her perspective has been shaped by experiences across different cultural environments.
​
She studied at the Total Immersion Intensive Workshop at the New York Film Academy in 1999 and later completed a BA (Hons) in Animation at the University of Westminster, London. Her work has been selected for the British Council Film Directory and screened internationally.
​
Since 2006, she has worked across visual art, illustration, graphic design and digital media, and is the founder and director of the Star Brewery Gallery in Lewes.
​
Her practice focuses on original artworks that form the foundation of her handbag and fine art prints.
